How We Test and Compare Products

Every guide on Tiporelax follows the same method, so that a “Best overall” badge means the same thing in every category.

1. Shortlisting

We start from the products currently sold in a category and cut the field to five to seven. Items are dropped when the listing is incomplete, when the seller has no track record, or when the product duplicates another shortlisted item with no meaningful difference.

2. What we compare

We compare the numbers the manufacturer publishes: dimensions, weight, capacity, power, materials, warranty and included accessories. Where a figure is a marketing claim rather than a measured value, the guide says so. We do not repeat star ratings or review counts, because those are not properties of the product.

3. Awards

• Best overall: the pick most buyers in this category should start with.
• Best budget pick: the cheapest option that still clears our shortlist.
• Best premium / upgrade: worth the extra spend for a specific reason the guide names.
• Best for …: the right choice for a narrower use case, stated in the badge.

4. Re-checking

Product availability and listing details are re-checked before a guide is published, and the “Last updated” line at the end of each guide records that date.

5. Independence

Retailers and manufacturers do not pay for placement, and we do not accept free products in exchange for coverage. Commissions from qualifying purchases fund the site; see the affiliate disclosure.
